Improving Treatment for Anorexia Nervosa
We are final year pharmacy students at the University of Bath, seeking volunteers to take part in this study which looks at improving treatment for people with Anorexia Nervosa. Anybody who has been diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa is welcome to volunteer. With your help, we can hopefully devise a care plan to be implemented in community pharmacies, which will look to raise awareness and improve treatment of this condition.
Our study will consist of individual interviews lasting approximately 45 minutes. Topics covered include: support and treatment you have received and recovery. At each interview, there will be two researchers present in a friendly environment.
The interview will take place at a time and location convenient for you. The interviews will be recorded with your permission. All details will be treated confidentially and you have the right to withdraw from the study at any time. All information will be anonymous throughout.
Information gathered will go towards drawing up a care plan to be used in community pharmacies to help in the future treatment of Anorexia Nervosa.
There will be a token £10 gift voucher for taking part in our study. All travel costs will be reimbursed and refreshments will be provided.
If you would like to find out more information or are interested in taking part in the study, please pick up a study pack from Jane Smith or contact the lead researcher, Dr Jane Sutton.
